Advancing Academic Excellence: Strengthening Ties Across the Mekong

Demonstration School of Khon Kaen University Nong Khai Campus recently hosted an Academic Cooperation Agreement Signing Ceremony in collaboration with Sathid Secondary School Faculty of Education, National University of Laos and the Faculty of Education, National University of Laos.

The agreement was officially signed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Suntaree Buchitchon, Dean of the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, Khon Kaen Universit, and Dr. Krongkaew Kingsawat, Director of Demonstration School of Khon Kaen University Nong Khai Campus, alongside Mr. Khamfeuang Lorvanxay, the Faculty of Education, National University of Laos, and Mrs. Phonsy Oraine, Director of Sathid Secondary School Faculty of Education, National University of Laos. The ceremony was witnessed by executives, faculty members, and staffs from all three institutions on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at the Innovation Park, Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, Khon Kaen University.

Beyond the formal signing, the institutions engaged in a productive discussion to exchange ideas on future academic collaborations. Key focus areas included:

• Instructional management and teaching strategies.

• Student development programs.

• Classroom-based research.

• Joint extracurricular activities.

The atmosphere was warm and collaborative. Following the meeting, the Director of Demonstration School of Khon Kaen University Nong Khai Campus led the visiting delegation to observe the Summer Camp activities at the Primary School Building and concluded the visit with a tour of Nong Khai Aquarium.
